Betrayal of Trust

Admit it, once you've tarnished one's trust, it would be real hard to regain it.

One thing I have learned in life (and i guess most of us actually) is to cherish the trust given to me by other people, because once I fail, I know I can never put that back to the way it used to be (no matter how willing I am to regain it).

I promised myself to never post any negative thoughts in here, but I guess, there would really be times when I just have to. After all, not all negatives are negatives. There are also positive things out of every negative ones, right?

It just so happen that someone broke my trust, and it saddens me now.

Anyway, at least I have learned my lesson. Never again should I trust anyone unless they've proven they're worth it. ^_^

I agree with you, its really difficult to restore trust, but if you are convinced that the person is repentant, you could spare forgiveness in such situation in order that both of you can move on with your lives.

I admire you for for reminding the Pinoys of the Election Registration deadline.

God bless you.

Hi Pope. Thanks for the good words. I do forgive. I am not hard to please. I believe this will pass. I just need time to forget what happened for now. ^_^

This is the most concern of all people..always having a trust and to maintain it.. i'm agree that it is difficult to regain it once there is something negative that they have seen or you have shown, either intentionally or not.. and sometimes this impressions makes it up to last.

What if I wanted to regain it and am remorseful. I also need time to heal, don't I? This is just from the other side of the trust spectrum (chuckles).

In general I would say that I am far more of a trusting person than not. I see people more as inherently good and positive and my cautions do not pop up usually until the person says or does something that signals a yellow or red flag.

@Gill: right! and the worst thing pa, so hard to regain. nakakaparanoid na kasi. you may have it back pero di na 100% kasi andun yung uneasy feeling. kumbaga eh, nagmark na sya. may scar na that would keep you reminded of how the person have betrayed your trust. tsktsk. hehehe
